At Broad Street Braces, we get a few common questions that patients ask us. We’d like to take a minute to address a few of these questions to help you as you make the decision about orthodontic treatment.
When is the best time to begin treatment?
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that the first orthodontic evaluation should occur at the first sign of orthodontic problems OR no later than age 7. This is not saying that orthodontic treatment will be started at this age, however it does mean that we can anticipate the best time to commence treatment.
Are you a candidate for orthodontic treatment?
Most people only think orthodontic treatment is to improve the appearance of their smile, however it can improve bad bites as well.
Is orthodontic treatment only for teens?
No, teeth alignment can occur at any age if your gums and bone structure are healthy. Choosing orthodontic treatment later in life can dramatically change your personal appearance and boost your self-esteem!
A new smile can begin today for you or your family member. If you have further questions about orthodontic treatment call Broad Street Dental. We offer free consultations and also second opinions. We will also direct your billing directly to your insurance for you.
